The Hobbit is very good! I love The Lord of The Rings trilogy and for those who also like it I totally recomend this movie :) It is the first of a three-part film adaptation of the 1937 novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, to be followed by The Desolation of Smaug and There and Back Again. The three films together will act as prequels to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The story is set in Middle-earth sixty years before The Lord of the Rings . It tells hte story of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who is convinced by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to accompany thirteen dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on a quest across Middle-earth to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from Smaug the dragon.
The second one...well, I don't know if it was the most different, in a good way (because of the inovation and originality) terror movie that I've ever seen or if it was the worst so far. The Cabin in the Woods has as main characters Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, and Jesse Williams portraing five friends who travel to a remote cabin for a holiday and become victims of a seemingly stereotypical horror movie plot while being observed via hidden cameras by mysterious office workers.
